Site Engagement Meeting in Asia

This week, GPV’s Executive Leadership Team met with the local management teams from our Operating Business Units (OBUs) in Asia for the first Site Engagement Meeting planned for spring 2025.
The meeting took place at GPV Electronics LK in Kochchikade, Sri Lanka, with Managing Director Chandana Dissanayake and his local management team as hosts. The meeting gathered our OBUs from Sri Lanka, China, and Thailand. From the Executive Leadership Team, CEO Bo Lybaek, CBO Thomas Kaiser, CFO Henrik Tornbjerg, and COO Martin Kjærbo participated in the SEM.
“During our SEMs, we meet with the local management teams to review major achievements in 2024 and discuss key challenges in the current year, exchange best practices, and align on the strategic focus for the coming period. The agenda always includes a factory tour, and it was a great pleasure to see our 17,600 sqm electronics factory in Sri Lanka and meet our many dedicated people there,” says Bo Lybaek, CEO at GPV.
The Site Engagement Meetings take place once a year, with dedicated half-day sessions for each Operating Business Unit (OBU), grouped by geographic region.
“Our Site Engagement Meetings are a key tool to align site objectives between the Executive Leadership Team and our local management teams,” says Bo Lybaek. “They also provide an important platform for building relationships, reinforcing our shared values, and exchanging ideas and inspiration across sites. The SEM always includes a joint dinner where participants can interact with colleagues from other participating sites. It’s important not to underestimate the value of meeting face-to-face, especially as we mostly meet via Teams.”
The next Site Engagement Meeting will take place in the middle of April 2025 where GPV Electronics SK in Piestany, Slovakia, will host the meeting for our OBUs in Central and Eastern Europe.
