Site Engagement Meeting in Germany: Alignment across our European sites
Strong alignment across sites is essential in a global organisation. At GPV, our Site Engagement Meetings are a key part of making that happen: They provide a structured setting for dialogue, knowledge sharing and collaboration across locations.
On 9-10 June 2026, our Executive Leadership Team met with the local management teams from our electronics sites in Denmark, Finland, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland – our so-called proximity sites. These sites are located close to key European customers, supporting close collaboration, flexibility and responsiveness.
The meeting was held at GPV Electronics DE in Hildesheim, Germany and hosted by Sebastian Grundmann, MD at GPV Electronics DE.
Following the first SEM of the year in Bangkok, Thailand, the meeting in Hildesheim continued the focus on technology and automation. Together with the Executive Leadership Team, the local management teams discussed how automation, AI and other technologies can support continuous improvements, strengthen competitiveness and create more value to our customers.
Beyond the formal agenda, the meeting also provided space for informal interaction, which plays an important role in strengthening relationships across sites. A guided tour of the Hildesheim facility gave participants insight into local operations and ongoing activities.
“Our proximity sites face similar challenges and opportunities. This gives us a good foundation to discuss what works well, to identify areas for improvement and to support collaboration and learning across the organisation. I always value these meetings because they create alignment not only in strategy, but in how we work together and support each other day to day. In Hildesheim, automation was one of the key themes, and I really appreciate the open discussions on how local best practices can help us move forward together,” says Bo Lybaek, CEO at GPV.
